Other than handling the entire audio-visual technical concept and execution for both the My World of Tomorrow conferences and expos (for Business Connexion) in 2014 and 2015, hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre, we were also asked to conceptualized and build a unique exhibition stand for Business Connexion that demonstrated “connected intelligence” and a “meshed ecosystem”. We came up with and built from scratch a skeletal geodesic dome, at its core a one and only 3mx3mx3m holographic 360 degree unit to be the brains of the unit with 3D content that demonstrated their service offering. All around the inside of the dome were 8 differing sized plasmas hung from the ceiling with connected content from the holographic unit. Lastly there were two touch technologies, namely a touch upright kiosk and touch tables to learn more about BCX products. For 2015 our technical concept given their buzz word for the year was the Internet of things, for the main plenary we came up with the concept of mutli screen, multi input demonstrating how we view media in current times, where there are multiple sources of information for the same subject. We had over 20 screens each with their own feed, on a more than 90m hard set.
